Our operation theatres are set up to support a wide range of surgical specialties, with controlled air quality and strict infection-prevention protocols. Each theatre is equipped with the monitoring and surgical equipment the team needs to operate safely and work without interruption.
Cardiac Cathlabs
Our cardiac cathlabs support diagnostic and interventional heart procedures, such as angiography and angioplasty, using imaging that lets cardiologists see the heart's blood vessels clearly. Patients are monitored closely throughout by a dedicated cardiac team, with procedures planned around each person's needs.
Robotic Surgery
CritiCare Asia Hospitals, Juhu uses robotic technology to bring greater precision to the operating room. Three systems are part of our surgical programme.
- CUVIS
The surgeon builds a detailed plan for the patient's joint, and the robot prepares the bone exactly as planned, under supervision. Used in knee replacement, it supports accurate implant positioning, less damage to surrounding tissue, and a smoother recovery. - CORI 2.0
This robotic system maps the patient's own joint so bone is removed only within planned limits. Used in knee replacement, including partial replacement, and in hip replacement, it supports bone preservation and quicker return to daily movement. - VELYS
This robot guides the surgeon's saw so cuts follow the plan closely, while the surgeon stays in control. Used in knee replacement, it supports correct alignment, a more natural feel in the joint, and long-term implant performance.
